Where specialty coffee meets Sibiu. Meron adds “feelings” and not sugar to each brew ensuring the highest quality cup of coffee in the city and they’re making quite a bold statement, not just for their extravagant roasts but also with their central location in the heart of Piata Mare. Meron is open Monday to Sunday  from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm.

They have a dynamic staff ready to serve and teach you about their unique brews. Each cup is special and when you don’t want coffee you can choose from a list of their "outcasts" where they are one of the only specialty coffee and brunch places to offer a matcha latte or masala tea as an alternative option. If you follow them on social media Meron is also a great hub of information, offering insights on the city, coffee roasting and their high-quality standard of coffee excellence.

In addition to their speciality coffee you can also serve a delicious brunch at Meron, from Madeira toast to hummus and poached eggs, all of the dishes were inspired by the chef’s travels where he tries to integrate a bit of each local place into each dish. The attention to detail is like none other, each one  plated beautifully with decorative edible flowers, making your cafe experience similar to that of fine dining.

While Meron is a franchise with many locations across the country, they are the "new kid on the block" in Sibiu brining a different flavour to the city.

Meron’s aesthetic is clean and minimal the ambiance is created for different types of spaces, from socializing to working. One of the nicest places to sit if you're dining solo is  at the front table where you get the perfect view of  the grand square and can enjoy people watching with a great cup of coffee regardless of the season.
